Edible Oil & Petrochemical Testing
Malaysia Palm Oil Board (MPOB) & Ministry of Plantation Industries and Commodities (KPPK) had licensed our laboratory to test edible oil and petrochemical product. The accredited test such as FFA, M&I, IV, and DOBI are core parameters often required by the industry players. We committed to provide same day delivery (SDD) and accurate results to cater the surveyor and customer's shipping schedule. Your tight shipping schedule is always important to us.
Nutrition Fact Testing
The nutrition facts label also known as the nutrition information panel is a label required on most packaged food and drink in many countries. Predominantly in most country the core nutrition facts are Protein, Total Fat, Carbohydrate and Energy. Our testing services for nutrition facts and labeling are meeting FDA/USDA, EU Directive 90/496/EEC, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, Middle East and others statutory requirement.
Preservative Testing & Pesticide Testing
A preservative is a synthetic or naturally substance which is added into products during production process to prevent decomposition by undesirable chemical or physical changes and microbial growth. The most commonly used preservatives are Sodium Benzoate, Sulfur Dioxide, Sorbic Acid and etc.
Real Time PCR Testing
PCR has completely revolutionized the detection of RNA and DNA such as PROCINE (Pork DNA) and GMO (Genetically modified organism). Real-Time chemistries allow for the detection of PCR amplification during the early phases of the reaction. Measuring the kinetics of the reaction in the early phases of PCR provides a distinct advantage over traditional PCR detection. Traditional methods use Agarose gels for detection of PCR amplification at the final phase or end-point of the PCR reaction. As growing needs for Halal product conformity, MY CO2 is capable to carryout the RT-PCR test for PROCINE and other RT-PCR testing available is determination of GMO for corn and maize.
RoHS Compliance Testing
ROHS is commonly known as the Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive and was adopted by European Union in February 2003. ROHS restricts the used of dangerous substances which are commonly used in electronic and electronic equipments. Those substances including Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg) and Hexavalent chromium (Hex-Cr) as well as flame retardant of Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).
REACH Compliance Analysis
Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) is a European Union Regulation of 18 December 2006. The regulation addresses the production and use of chemical substances and their potential impacts on both human health and the environment pollution. REACH came into force in 1 June 2007.
Shelf Life Study - Frozen Food
The shelf life of a frozen food can be defined as the time period in which the frozen food is safe for consumption and has an acceptable quality to consumers. Frozen foods deteriorate during storage by different modes of mechanisms. And its shelf life, depends on the product characteristics such as raw materials, ingredients, formulation, pre-freezing treatment, freezing process, packaging film processes and its storage conditions. At the freezing condition basically microbes usually are not a problem since they cannot grow at thistemperatures unless subjected to extensive temperature abuse above the freezing point. Therefore the frozen food freshness become the key indicators to determine its acceptance from the consumer. We are capable to determine the shelf life study of any type of frozen food store under -18 °C (0 °F) or less.
Shelf Life Study - Non Frozen Food & Medicine
Shelf life is the length of time that food, drink, medicine, chemical and many other perishable products are given before they are considered unsuitable for sale, use, or consumption. In some country, a best before, use by or freshness date is required on packaged perishable foods. Most shelf life labels or listed expiry dates are used as guidelines based on normal handling of products.
Toy Testing
Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operative and Consumerism (MDTCC) had implemented toy safety programme in Malaysia. As an independent laboratory, we had accredited EN-71 (Part 1, 2, and 3), ISO-8124 (Part 1, 2, and 3), MS 1725:2004 and EN 62115:2005 method for toy safety testing. With ILAC-MRA mark our certificate of analysis (COA) is recognized internationally. As for COC application at entry point, we commit to expedite the test results to meet our customers' busy shipping schedule.
